Although I’ve owned other 4×4’s over the years, this was my very first Jeep. To insure I would get it with everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t, I had it special ordered through Sam’s Club auto buying program. Specifically I made sure I got the Sport package with 4.0L Engine as well as the 30″ Wheel Group which included a Dana44 rear axles, 3.73 gears, a Trac-Loc Limited Slip Differential, and Wrangler GS/A tires. Unfortunatly, it took approximately 6 weeks to have it delivered but I finally got it on November 12, 1999 and ended up paying about $22,000 out the door. Since then, I have made many modifications to this Jeep and it has taken my family and I just about everywhere. We truely love it like a member of the family. More than just a vehicle, it’s a way of life.
