Installed my 14.5" led light bar..... Best part is..... 100 bucks. From superbrightled.com. Didn't want to pay 300 bucks so this works awesome. Very bright. Biggest one they have I think is a 21", but it's fine by me.

How are you painting that ? What are you using

I shot 3 light coats of self etching primer next will be mopar color matched tan on the spider and black around the spider. I figured rattle can would be my best option since it'll see a beating and it will be easy to touch up.

Use Mikes offroad tip on greasing the thing up before painting. I think it was in my build thread. Seemed a lot easier then taping it off.

Mike, I seen that in your thread but after talking to a buddy that use to do automotive painting he suggested using Glad press and seal kitchen wrap. After the spider is painted I'll use the wrap and cut around the spider then apply the black. I'll let everyone know how it works out.

Because the metal does not look too smooth (textured?) the stick wrap may allow some seepage.

The spider sits higher than the rest of the diff. If it doesn't work out I'll be able to see it and adjust my method.
