VIDEO : KC Flex ERA 4 Combo Lights

Those look great! Nice expert install too. Every time I run wires through the grill & fender area I end up scraping the shit out of my hands and arms and leave pieces of skin on the sharp edges, kudos to you for avoiding that. Even though you used the switch pros its nice that the kit comes with everything you need.

LOL - I have to say, I just got lucky this time around. Glad you enjoyed the video :)

You could definitely connect the amber back lights to the DRL's and I almost did just that. As far as the fogs go, I would be that you could make it work especially if you have LED fogs now. If not, you would probably have to run a resistor to make it work.
Dude. If I can do it you can too. 👍

I used the the switch pros though.

What he said ^^^^

Oh, and the Switch Pros really does help out a lot.

I gave the fog lights away... but I am pretty sure they were not LED... and you lost me at resistor. I've avoided the switch pros because I don't have many accessories, or plan on adding more. So I'll either school myself on the resistor, mount their switch, or breakdown and get the switch pro.

It took the better part of a year for Cindy and I to finally get our hands on a set of KC Flex ERA 4 LED lights but I'm really glad that we waited because these things, are awesome! In fact, I wish we could have gotten 2 pairs, one in a combo beam and one in a spot but unfortunately, we were only able to get the combos. In any case, this video will show you just how easy they were to install on the EVO Quarter Pounder front bumper that we have on our Jeep JT Gladiator and have it wired up to our Switch Pros Switch System. Essentially, the same thing as connecting it to the factory auxiliary switch system.

You really don't need anything let along a switch pros to get these lights working. All you have to do is use the wiring kit that comes with the lights and you're good to go. On a JK, it's really easy to get the wiring inside the cab too.

Love how those lights shine. I might have to order a set

You can just run a relay. You don’t need a resistor. I had a lightbar hooked up to that on both the two door and the silver Jeep.

Those are sweet! I've been planning on mounting mine in the same spot and have been trying to figure out fabricating brackets. Where did you get that light bracket? That's perfect.

So I could hook up 1 - 2" rear dust amber, the 2 - 4" Flex Eras up front... and use the factory fog light switch for all 3 lights by just adding one relay?

Yup, I think I’ll be ordering a pair. They also don’t block much air flow to the radiator like the AEV ones that had come on my build years ago. Awesome video and demonstration of the Era 4s

Just in case you don’t know, you won’t be able to use them with your high beams if they are hooked to the fog switch. The fogs turn off when the high beams turn on.
