Fewer and fewer Jeeps are being seen with the classic half doors... Who out there is staying true to the Jeep roots and rocking half doors?

I've got factory half doors on the Pumpkin....

I prefer the doors off, but the wife likes them on cause she feels "more secure" that way... and as the saying goes "Happy wife = Happy life"

Awesome rigs! JKF, how'd you paint the enclosures? Armydog, are both your pups still service dogs or happily retired?
 
I want factory half doors. I don't want to spend three k on em. I'm hoping that the price will drop when the new model comes out. But I also know that I may be wishful thinking. Lol.

Anyone know what kind of security system options are available for Jeeps with half/no doors and no electronic locks? Anything with proximity...Or do we just keep everything in the locked console and post up with an AR-15, standing watch?

Does anybody know if it is possible to get normal doors and half doors with the purchase of a new JKUR? If so, do you know the cost to do it?

I tried to get both tops and both doors. It was a no go for me. Jeep wouldn't allow the dealership to order a hard top and half doors, so my options were to get both tops with full doors and purchase the half doors separately (for a very large sum!), or what I ended up doing. I just ordered the soft top and half doors and rolled with it! With the soft top, I would still have to purchase one set of doors from the dealership, as they could not order it with 2 sets of doors.

Gotcha. Thank you for the response. Do you by any chance remember what it would have cost to purchase the factory half doors separately from the dealer?
