Flame "Fire Engine" Red Rubicon 2 Door Build

This is my first jeep wrangler I've ever bought. After having it a year and a half now I ask myself why the hell did I wait so long. So much fun playing with it, modifying it and working on it.

Here is a list of things i have down to my 2 door rubicon since Sept. 2014. And the list will keep growing. Lol. I haven't named her yet. Guess I'm still thinking of a name fitting her prowess.

Here she is the day I bought it climbing a mound of dirt.

First weekend did a little paint modding and installed a cobra cb setup

Took her out on her first wheeling trip and figured out on what I needed next. A winch. . Didn't get stuck but was darn near close.

Winch came. A Quadratec q9000 cable winch. Purchased rock hard 4x4 winch plate to use with stock bumper. Added Quadratec LED headlights and guards at same time

Decided a lift was in order. Installed a Rubicon express 2.5 with monotubes. Next will be new shoes

Converted the hard top to a premium sail cloth softie. Much happier with the freedom of on the fly top removal. Sold hardtop and no regrets since. Installed mopar fuel door cover and painted "jeep" logo insert red.

New 33" duratracs. Decided time for a change on the front end. New barricade trail force HD bumper and to go with it I decided to change to a synthetic winch. Got the smittybilt x2o 10k synthetic. New KC rally 400 lights for the bar.

2 months after duratracs installed I regretted not getting 35's. My tire shop let me return the duratracs for full credit since only 700 miles on them. Purchased 35" Goodyear MT/R. Much happier.

First summer going totally naked. Loving it. ...

Taking her out after the new treads. Did a trail cleanup with my local Jeep club. Log roll baby. Yeah

Love the set up with 35's and stock wheels. JK's should come stock like that.

Wanted more wheel room for articulation and flexing. Installed bushwacker flat fender flares. And another cosmetic part. A satin black jeep grille.

All of this in one weekend. Added a barricade HD rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, mounted 48" hi lift jack to back of tire carrier, barricade heavy duty rock sliders. Then went out and found some mud and got down right with it in it. Oh what a feeling

Bought some new wheels. KMC XD128 machete satin black. Got rid of those wheel spacers. Added a MagnaFlow catback rock krawler exhaust system. Sounds so much better than stock. A little loud but I like it that way. Have had many compliments on the way it sounds.

Went and did a little snow wheeling too

Made some lighting changes. Took off KC rally 400. Added 20 inch light bar. Added a couple of 4.5" raxiom led windshield lights. My wife ordered us the jeep wave vinyl decal for the driver mirror. Pic was at a another snow run about a month ago

Oh yeah. Forgot about the programmer when I went to the 35's. A traildash 2. A great little unit. Full of features and monitoring gauges.

Great looking Jeep! Agree with Catahoula - Jeeps should at least have the 35's as an option!
