I think Fernando and them are running lower Mansfield this weekend. I plan on going, so I will post updates on trail conditions. :thumb:

I just saw that. Unfortunately I can't make it. Last day of fall baseball for my oldest son.

I look forward to the info you gather! [emoji106]

I've never done the Moss Wash trail, or anything out in that area. I've got the Charles Wells AZ Backroads & 4x4 Trails guide book and a google earth .gpx file of the trail, but have never actually done it. So if I do go, it'll be a new area to me. When I get back home to AZ I do have to install the PSC steering cooler and maybe a sport cage before I head out there. I'd likely be looking at the weekend of Jan 7th-8th.

Here's the Project-JK video of it from a few years ago. Should give an idea of what the trail is like.

Kingman may be a little too far for me.

Yeah it's about 5 hrs from Tuscon, AZ. Would be a long day without a hotel stay for the night.

We only ran lower Mansfield today. It was a lot more overgrown than expected. The trail wasn't too hard, but there were a few instances where there was no bypass. Some people may teeter depending on your rig setup. If you don't like getting your rig scratched, then it's not for you...

Thanks for the feedback. You did it downhill, right?

If you have any suggested changes to the required vs recommended stuff in the other thread, feel free to post it up! Thanks!!!

No, we apparently went the regular way. I am definitely taking my soft top off the next time I run it. Also, I ran it with no doors. Your vehicle will get scratched up either way...
