Doubt he will be riding in the back, and getting in the front is the same in either model. Once the rear seat is removed from the 2 door there is more space than a 4 door has with seats in

never thought of that good call honestly either way its still a sick ride cant beat it worst come to worst u buy both:brows:

We don't have kids, don't ever plan too either.

We've had 2 doors and 4 door Jk's

I would never go back to a 2 door. The 4 door is more capable than the 2 door. The added room is just a bonus

That being said, to me the 2 door is a real jeep 👍

I love my two door! Then again it's just me and usually someone else. I'm 6'3" and I can climb in and out of the back no problem and there is still a good amount of room in the back. Just my 2 cents

Uh oh. This thread is gonna turn into the classic 2door v 4door. The capability of each model is particular to the situation and terrain. Some trails allow the 2door to shine, while others the 4door is a better platform. This has been beaten to death a million times. For example, 2doors love tight wooded trails, while 4doors eat up steep climbs. 'Nuff said

Lol, you know it all

Just laying out the facts versus opinion. You seem to have an issue with me and enjoy pointless attempts at debunking my posts. Lets stop the playground bullying already. Just ignore my posts unless you have something valuable to add:thumb:

You didn't get duped did you?

No I wasn't fooled I just didn't get it because they didn't have any base models with AC on the lot. I didn't want anything more then a base model and got this one for pretty cheap so I said screw it and will probably just install AC myself this winter.

agreed with your first statement

Lol. My feelings aren't hurt.

Overlander...at least u weren't fooled like some others with no ac. I've heard of others installing it after purchase. Curious on how difficult and costly it would be.

Here's the thing. I've owned four Jeeps. Three of which were Wranglers. My last Jeep was a 2dr JK which I built up. I loved it as it was my third vehicle (pleasure ride). I found myself consumed with it and quickly realized two things most 4-door Rubi owners already know. The 4-door is a great choice for the family AND for storage and trips (long or short). The Rubicon gives you everything you'll regret you didn't get when you buy a non-Rubi.

When I had my 2-dr JK, non-Rubi. I had plans for a Dana-44 front axle or a PR-44 front. Lockers front and rear and had to add sway bar disconnects. The Rubi comes with the D-44 front, lockers and an electronic sway bar disco.

I recently sold my 2-dr and bought a 4-door Rubi. I am happier than a pig in slop (or a pig in a Jeep for that matter).

My humble opinion. Just go for the 4-door rubi and call it a day. You'll regret t if you don't.
