Oh!!! Is that right ? ;) Have a look at this turd. It's a VW 2.0L with direct injection.
It came into the shop for an MIL. It was missing on 3 and 4. The dealer put new plugs
and #3 and #4 ignition coils. The customer said it ran worse after they worked on it.
It took 2 days to soak this...
I prefer to use Techron in my vehicles. BG would be the best, but you can't buy it.
Amaon has it for 14 bucks if you can't find it local. Buy the 20 OZ bottle.
Lucas is snake oil
Intake air temp sensor should be on the intake snorkel tube. It's a two wire sensor and should have a black connector.
Here's a shot of mine, but remember, mine is a 2016 3.6L. Yours will be different.
P0113-INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT HIGH
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.
Theory of Operation
Intake Air Temperature Sensor performance looks at the outputs of three temperature sensors and compares them under cold start conditions. Following a...
Might be a pad wear scraper telling you it's time for pads ?
OE, OEM and most good quality pads have a wear sensor. It functions well and works
just like you stated. You can hear it rolling and it stops when the brake is applied.
I went out an took a shot of mine. Yours has oil/dirt buildup and I think that makes the lines stand out more.
I was able to get one shot of the same area as in one of your pictures and it looks the same to me.
Here's what I could capture for a visual comparison.
If you look close you can see...

Most of these issues can be caused from sensor faults or terminal contact issues with high resistance.
P0390-CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT - BANK 2 SENSOR 2
NOTE: The CMP Sensor is a dual read sensor reading both camshafts of it's correlating bank.

Certainly! The power comes from the MTIP (by the book) but you might know it as the TIPM and through the ASD relay.
It powers fuse M19 on the gas rigs. Here's 2 circuit diagrams for you to reference :thumb:
The PCM controls the circuit. I'm not sure what the voltage will be coming from the PCM because it's
not fed by a fuse. I would unplug the solenoid with the key on and check the voltage to the solenoid.
I've also had issues when the vent solenoid gets filled with dirt and or the filter gets...
Mine isn't really a daily driver, but I do drive a lot back and forth to work when not driving my truck
My choice was aluminum for weight reduction over steel. I also decided to run aluminum to eliminate
the possibility of rust. I'm running raw aluminum with a clear coat paint to allow the raw...
