    Show your Knives!

I picked this one up earlier this year. It's a little bigger than I wanted for EDC, but I've got used to it. Ritter has a smaller version that is sold at this link also, and in looking this up, I see he know offers an auto version of this knife...

    Jeep dogs!!!

You are correct on former owners. He is nearly 3. By their admission, he was kept indoors and crated for way too much of his life, due to work, school, and the family being gone for their daughters' activities, and he was getting little social time with humans or other dogs and kept confined. He...

    Jeep dogs!!!

Rags, on the right, is now 11, a puppy rescue from a local shelter. Our Jeep actually belongs to him, his name is even on the state tag. Cort is on the left and has only been with us a few months; we took him off a young couple who needed to rehome him. I've had/seen some stupid dogs in my life...

Caves Trains and More Oh My

Thanks for the write-up and pics! I want to go back to Great Basin very much; we only got a very small taste of the park, going back home from Tahoe during Covid. The caves only had the short tour available at the visitor center and some other stuff was shut down because of Covid-related stuff...

    show your sunrise/sunset pictures

5AM yesterday morning on my employer's dock on the TN River, getting ready to pull lids and finally finish loading this thing. Boat and barges coming downriver towards us, after coming through the locks at Kentucky Dam, a couple of miles upriver from us. There ARE a few perks from being on the...

New Bestop eTop? - How much are you willing to spend?

Nope. And if I were you, I'd pass on being an installer for them.

    Show your Knives!

I like the Leatherman stuff and have a couple that I usually now keep with the hunting bag or tacklebox. Also a couple of their small ones that I used to carry everyday, but just a bit too big to suit me. I started carrying a CRKT LCK a few years ago. I'm terrible about laying something down and...

    SHOW us the SNOW!!

The local channels (western KY) were bellowing 4-8" and likely upside of that in the storm "bands". We maybe got 3", 4" in the "band" areas. Some major winter snow storm. And what's up with giving these "major winter storms" names, like a hurricane??? Are we THAT weak nowadays?

    Tyson/Paul: Did you watch?

I still remember Tyson in the beginning and the guys I worked with while in college putting the cash up for any of his PPV fights and getting together with a ton of alcohol and watching a seemingly 1 minute fight and then drinking our livers away the rest of the evening. I had no desire to watch...

    What's in your humidor?

WJCO, those are nice 'gars. First I ever saw of them was a booth they have at the BBQ On The River in Paducah, KY, and picked up a variety. Loved them for a change of pace. Didn't really think they'd burn well with dark-fired leaf in them or as part of the wrapper, because the leaf is so thick...

    show your sunrise/sunset pictures

From our dock at work last Monday morning. We are on the Tennessee River, about 2 miles downstream from Kentucky Dam. One of the perks of the job is getting some really sweet sunrise and sunset views.
