Finally had a chance to get away and play in the San Juan’s yesterday. I wanted to go get lost in the woods and find some new trails and camp sites.... mission accomplished.

Fire is now at 23,000 acres and the San Juan National forest is closed. Night run planned for Saturday at Chokecherry with the Creepers Jeepers, other than that all of my wheeling trips planned for the summer have been cut off.

Perfect day in Moab yesterday despite spending 5 hours turning wrenches in the middle of Poison Spider. My buddy blew up his rubicon 44 front axle. Axle shaft, U joint, and both ball joints decided to detonate! We replaced the Ball joints on the trail, bandaged the steering, and limped her...
