I put mine on the cowl a couple years ago after I ordered the wrong cage mount and had to make something work. I'm sure it's not ideal for distance, but a couple trips with heavy use in Moab and Sand Hollow and it seems to be fine.

Depends on what it is, but usually a mixture of the owner's manual, info on forums, google searches, or YouTube. Whatever it is, I don't just take someone's word for it. Especially someone who benefits financially by upselling or influencing my decision.

Your lights seem to be different than the small-batch product made in Oregon than we're familiar with. Not to say it's any more or less of a decent rock light. For sure a step in the right direction of warranty, customer service, and filled orders.

Send it in. I bet they'll go above and beyond to make it right, even if it's outside their stated warranty standards. That's the difference between buying ARB and a knockoff from Alibaba.

Damn, these are awesome! I don't remember how long I've had my LED (Heated) Rigids on, but it's been a while and they've performed well on several snowy mornings in Moab. If these measure up, I'd get a set and swap them in.
