I bought 2 kayak lifts, each have a 200lb load limit. Total cost of $25 and works great.

I bought 1/2" longer bolts for the fairlead and a few extra nuts to sandwich the license plate. Then drilled my license plate out for the width of the Hawse fairlead. Cost me all of $5 to get my plate mounted.

Made my own hardtop lift for $30. Also used 350 feet of paracord and made my own rollcage netting to keep the dog in the back. I'm such a cheapass.... Hardtop lift and netting for a total of $50 and a evening worth of my time

It's not a bad place. Half of it is hilly with trees and the other half is steep short hills. The middle has a small rock garden. Not sure if it's worth the drive from rawlings, but then again it's no more than 2 hrs away from you. I can't say it would be challenging for a non stock jeep...

What a PITA they really shouldn't give you a zip tie. It was easy using a wire to pull it through. Thanks for the advice.

I have been trying to get the synthetic line through the drum for too long now. I broke the zip tie included after the loop was 25% through the drum, tried using my own zip ties and they also continue to break at the same position while being pulled. Any tips that would help me get the line...
