I honestly cannot stand this car aside from the power. Maybe it’s just because I don’t like sports cars, give me muscle and i’d be happy. There is one family I work with that collect GTOs from the 60s and 70s… those are badass, unfortunately they only bring them out here on special occasions.

That’s early for those temperatures isn’t it?

Yesterday, I pulled up my sprinkler hoses and the rest of my irrigation blown out. My hoses were frozen solid 😳
Yes we’re zone 7 which has average first frost Oct 29-Nov 15. But it’s not that unheard of I’ll just have to cover my veggies and some of the flowers for the night. Definitly turn off the spigots even though they are supposed to be frost free I don’t trust them.

Most frost free spigots which freeze do so because someone left a hose attached, and it is full of water. The modern anti-siphon faucets will help unless the hose is still pressurized. The safest thing to do is to immediately disconnect the hose each time you use it so you don't need to remember later.

Regardless, I am not trustful either, so I always insulate the faucets.
