Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

…the false prophet media kept saying the jet fuel melted the buildings…
No way JP burns with enough heat to melt or even soften steel. That’s why jet engines are made of exotic metals that are resistant to high temperatures and the combustion section is internally insulated by a layer of high pressure boundary air to contain the combustion to keep it from burning through the can. Yup. It’s because JP burns so cool that great care must be taken to prevent hot starts that will destroy a jet engine in seconds.

Burning in open air vs inside a combustion
chamber are 2 completely different scenarios. You never get close to the adiabatic temp in the open.

That is correct.

Inconel is one of those exotic metals used is jet engines. It is also used for making higher end sound suppressors like the Surefire military cans.

More info on high temp alloys here.

As with most conspiracy theories lots of misleading and faulty information gets passed around. For example the Pentagon (especially in 2001) being the most secure building in the world. Fucking please!

That’d all be cool if the crash occurred inside of a combustion chamber but since the fuel was burning in the open the temp cannot get to the same as it would be inside a highly specialized engine made to maximize the fuel efficiency

Interesting. Never knew this.

Also never knew they used jet fuel in controlled demolitions.

Sorry. I forgot fire is one of those benign forces that is easily controlled. The firestorms that devastated the cities of Japan, Germany and the hills of Southern California were mostly peaceful campfires. No way a fire could draw in air at such velocities to reach temperatures needed to burn through metals, unless they born inside “a highly specialized engine designed to maximize the fuel efficiency”.

I guess it’s impossible that filling a high rise building with thousands of gallons of jet fuel and setting it on fire could turn it into a chimney, drawing air through the stairways, elevator shafts and broken windows to create the hellish temperatures needed to soften steel. I suppose none of the other flammable materials in the building would burn hot enough to damage structures. Yep. The flames were mostly peaceful.

That’s exactly the problem, you never knew.

I’m looking forward to you telling me all about your demolition training and experience.
😂🤣

For those without TDS this is an interesting article.

I already told you about demolition. I am a professional in that field.

It goes boom, unless it doesn’t.

If it was that hot at the crash site, how were firefighters able to enter that flier through the stairwell and see flames?

Show me the melted skyscrapers from any of those places that had 5 inch thick columns. I shall wait.....

You're the airplane expert. It's still nowhere near the same as forced combustion that happens inside a compressor and you know it. You still didn't address the fact that no way did the JP reach anywhere near its adiabatic temp in that building and it can't unless it's forced. And it's impossible it burned hot enough and long enough to melt those fireproofed 5 inch thick steel columns. Multiple people smarter than both of us have stated so.

Yawn.

As Ovie stated, why were the firefighters able to enter that floor and see little to no flames? Their words, not hearsay. They heard explosions. Their words, not hearsay. And the majority of the fuel went up in the explosion when the plane hit. A lot did enter the building but are you claiming that the entire core of the tower was saturated and melted, thereby allowing a pancake collapse of a building that was designed to take a plane hit exactly like this and survive?
