    Headers photos request

Thanks for the reply. It's a 304. So it's not necessary to cut/trim the inner fender, that would be great. Too much trimming and I would just replace the rusty the stock exhaust.

    What's going on here?

The more I poke around under my Jeep the more interesting things I find. The right spring has an extra block added. It looks like someone was trying to lower the right side be about half an inch. This is the Left side and there isn't the extra block.

    Headers photos request

Hey all, I am planning on running headers on my 304 and would like to see some photos of some fenderwell headers and to be more exact, if you had to cut or modify the inner fender where you had to trim/cut (any CJ model). I also would like to see what mufflers you CJ-5 owners used on the side...

    Clutch Overcenter Spring Question

Does anyone have a photo of how the overcenter spring for the clutch is attached? I think I have an idea but I can't seem to get it in place with the lack of room for tools. Is there some trick to it?

    304 exhaust bolt removal question

I have an annoying exhaust leak and need to install new gaskets. I have read up on this and now know how easy the bolts break off. Is there a good way to remove the bolts without snapping them off in the block?

So far I haven't had a chance to get some chalk, but with 30 PSI it handles so much better and a lot more enjoyable ride...for a CJ-5.

    Tire pressure qusetion

It does wonder quite a bit and I'm always correcting it and thought it was the tie rod ends. I will also say for the record, I didn't put these tires on. probably the same person who thought duct tape was a good way to insulate wires.

    Tire pressure qusetion

Hey all, I'm running 265/70 R17 Load range E ProComp A/T Sport tires and the sidewall says 80 PSI max (I know you don't run that much). Can I run 30 PSI or is that too low? I'm wanting to add them to the Ultimate True Tire Size database but also don't want to deflate them to an unsafe level for...

    Air cleaner vacuum line connection?

Is this where the air cleaner vacuum line goes (blue cap)? I found all but this port in the manual. *UPDATE* Found the thermal vacuum switch inside the air cleaner was bad. Have a replacement on the way.

    72 CJ5 Renegade Wheel question

    I'm doing the same except for a 75. My parts catalog for 74-80 shows it's a 15x7 part# 536 2817 wheel (forged aluminum).

    Hello from Central Texas

Hey all, I am not new to Jeeps previously owned a 90 Wrangler and a WWII Ford GPW but I finally just took delivery of a 1975 CJ-5 Renegade. What drew me to the intermediate CJ-5 was that it's classic old school design visually and mechanically, and the AMC 304 V8. This is an ongoing project and...
