    Synthetic Winch Line

Yeah, I thought about that, but then I fear I'd have a really good looking hook with a galled-up loop that would be a pain in the ass getting the rope through if I had to repair the line. The hook is cool and all, but it's not worth making it fit.

    Synthetic Winch Line

I'll always run synthetic. It's just plain safer. I have the neoprene cover on all the time to keep it clean, and out of the sun. Last time I tried some knock-off brand rope just out of curiosity. It was fine and a great value at 1/3 the price of name-brand rope, but I'm not exactly pulling...

    Don't buy MOPAR Beadlocks

Don't take it all personally. It's a forum and everyone here has their own views based on their experiences. And of course - hindsight is 20/20. When you're pissed off and seeing red for being in a crappy situation, it's just easy think you were set up. We've all been there, but lucky for you -...

    Don't buy MOPAR Beadlocks

Sorry about your "experience," but this falls on you. It's your responsibility to know what is on your jeep and inspect it often. And really childish to go to a couple forums and cut/paste a rant about how its everyone else's fault and someone owes you free wheels cause you just now noticed...

    Smokers, grills, and the B-B-Qs

I miss my pellet gril back homel, but the soux vide has been keeping me well-fed here in the Middle-East. I cook meats to a solid rare, then finish it off on the grill to medium rare. I toss a couple flavored wood chips on the coals for some smokey flavor.

Has anyone done a JKL conversion on their 2 door?

I've had two friend with JKL conversions. One had a coach builder do it, the other did it himself in his garage. Both came out awesome. Flobuilt provided everything he needed and was there to provide phone assistance when ever he had questions. Because it's unique, adds more interior space...

    Got my first trailer!

Thats a good looking setup! Are you running bags on the Ram? Prices are insane, and delivery times are even worse. $9,600 OTD was pretty damn sweet on an in-stock unit.

    Got my first trailer!

I got it from Hay's in Mesa. It was in their Tucson inventory. I built an LPX trailer to my specs with a $16,000 MSRP on the DiamondC website and sent inquiries to 9 dealers between AZ, Southern Utah and the Vegas area. I only got two quotes back, which I thought was pretty pathetic. One from...

    Got my first trailer!

Thanks fellas. I used to always laugh at the idea of trailering around the Jeep, but the year before last I trailered the Jeep from Phoenix to Moab and man is it so nice doing all those miles in the comfort of my truck. Plus I know if something breaks I can just throw it on the trailer for the...

Favorite South Park scenes / clips

There's just so many, but this one really hit home at the time. Seemed like everywhere I went earlier that day had the hard press for donations at the register.

    Light bars

Came across a short clip from a typical night run. RGB Lux Rock Lights underneath set to Red and Rigid D-Series amber lights up front.

    Got my first trailer!

After several months of trailers running through my mind morning, day, and night, I ended up getting an in-stock unit from my local Diamond C dealer. I knew I wanted Diamond C because I've become a fan of their build process, growth, and available lineup and options. I've probably built...

    Light bars

Like others have said, unless you're up front it's best to keep the lumens down, and low. I used to talk all kinds of garbage about lightbars until I rode in rig in the middle of the night working our way through access roads at a good pace. A quality light with a good beam was critical to us...

    Airing Down Devices

I've had several deflators over the years. From cheap caps that screw on and depress the valve, to mechanically pre-set deflators, and now Power Tank Monster valves. I currently use the regular valve to attach the pressure gauge, and open the monster valve to deflate. Very quick. I think any...

Rugged duel battery ridge isolation kit

I ran a dual battery system for a while back before LED lighting was what it is now. Only damn thing those dual batteries were good for is killing batteries two at a time and becoming a fire hazard. I went through 8 yellow top optimas real quick and pulled that crap out. Haven't missed it...

Aftermarket Seat Install: Seatbelt Air Bag Warning Lights

I still have my seatbelt and airbag lights on after my aftermarket seats, harnesses, and steering wheel. You get kinda used to it after while. Eventually I'll dig into it and see if I can get them to switch off, but its well down my priority list. From my understanding there's seatbelt...
