Well after owning an f150 for a year I finally stopped by my local jeep dealer. Walked out with 1 less f150 and a new jeep. Got a great deal on trade and the current incentive off msrp was too good. So now I have a 23 JT to go with my 18 JLUR.
I have a uniden pro 510 cb and a baofeng ham. Since the 2 clubs I'm in run both. The ham does a decent job I the woods but you have to have a license. I have heard gmrs is better for obstructions.
This actually tucks under the console and the factory door trim. Has a marine grade cloth material on the bottom for heat and sound. It's about double the thickness of the factory carpet.
You pull the 4 bolts out of the console so you can lift it. Unbolt the front seats. Remove the trim along the bottom of the door. Rip out the carpet and lay this down on the floor. Put the trim and bolts back in.
