Stick with the recomended. It's all calculated for clearances and oriface openings, lifter operation and the control valves in a lot of engines. Use the wrong oil and you could have issues.

they have what is a square neck shoulder bolt now. this has been creating issues with aftermarket repleacement dampers as of course it does not fit the dampers.
