Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

Ran by work today and took a pic of the bumper installed earlier this week. The owl van pismo bumper lets you keep your parking sensors and the front radar detecter. Installed this on a storyteller beast mode model. Waiting on a piece from owl van that they forgot for the radar sensor in the...

Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

I don’t take a lot of pics of the van builds but if you’re looking for a front bumper, the Owl van Pismo bumper is a great upgrade. Easy to install. You can then add a warn vr winch in easily as well while installing.

    Power Tools

Yea they are great. My big 1/2 m18 is many years old now but it still is a beast. The m12 1/2 compact is awesome as well cause it fits in spots easier. The 3/8 m12 compact is crazy powerful and still takes off bolts and nuts I wasn’t expecting it to take off. This is an old pic but gets the...

    Power Tools

If you decide to switch to Milwaukee get the fuel stuff. Also a mix of m12 and m18 stuff is what you want. The m12 stuff is smaller and more compact while still packing a punch. The m18 stuff just hits hard and can’t be matched.

Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

I have come to like the spod stuff since I started installing them basically once a week. Easy to install and use. Thankfully that jack hole doesn’t own them anymore and bestop does. When you’re ready for suspension upgrades let me know. I do a ton so have some options on what’s good and isn’t

    Which pickup should I buy?

No that engine is great. The original LM2 had cooling concerns that they updated at the end of 2023 models to the LZ0 motor. Never seen cooling issues but it was more streamlined and easier to work on before I left.

    Which pickup should I buy?

That motor was a nightmare to work on and only in for a few years. It was ok tho.

    Which pickup should I buy?

If you’re gonna get a Colorado get one that’s a few years old and that has a 3.6 v6. The new one with the turbo 4cyl leave a lot to be desired as far as power goes.

    Which pickup should I buy?

You can only get a Denali with the 6.2 or the 3.0 diesel. The hummer would have a 6.0 LQ9 iron block. A much better option than a 5.3 or 6.2 because it didn’t have the DOD/AFM in it

    Which pickup should I buy?

I wouldn’t get anything new right now. Nissans and Toyotas are junk, GM has its issues but it’s the same lifter and transmission issues as the last 20 years. The 6.2 “issue” is being fixed. Eco boost has it cam phaser issues, and anything with a hemi is over priced IMO. Midsize wise, they all...

    JKU tire carrier

Nope, just make sure you buy tailgate bump stop extensions so that the tire is firmly isolated against it. That will keep the tire from rattling around which is the cause of tailgate spot welds popping.

What's your view like at work?

Speaking of campers, here is a Dodge Ram 3500 that is an AEV Prospector build we did (before my time) running some 40x13.50’s.

What's your view like at work?

No they aren’t that bad. Take a look at the Camp Out model. It’s pretty new. It allows you to customize the interior to your liking with what options are added more so than a standard camper
