You're lucky that the owner of the Jeep never really wheels his Jeep or to the point where those skids are remotely needed. At least, I see that none of the flathead allen bolts are mashed up from grinding on rocks. Even with a lift in a shop, getting the those stupid bolts out is a super pain...

Unless you really feel a need for bigger tires, I personally would stick with the 33's if only because they're more affordable, will still get the job done and as you've already seen, don't rob you of too much power.
