Having a hard time with death wobble 2020 Gladiator

be sure to check the pitman arm bolt.... I had the new steering box put in and it was awesome... then a couple months later the steering starting wandering terrible. checking around the large nut on the pitman arm was finer tight allowing the track bar to flex! I put blue locktight on it and...

JT - Sport Max Tow or Willys?

There is a cool modification that is available on the Max Tow rear end if you upgrade. You can get 35 spline cromo shafts with an ARB in the axle! I went to 37's and re-geared and had the stuff all replaced. The carrier and rear axle are different than a rubicon in the max tow- oddly enough the...

    37" spare

I have a 37 under mine... it is a tight fit. I recently bought a 1/4 inch think 17 inch alum. disk... I'm building a skid for the inside of the rim... I will post pics when the parts come in... I had the unfortunate experience of having a large rock slide perfectly inside the hole while coming...

    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

Last thing was a GMRS... I bought my license and a matching handheld unit. I had to change the location of the CB but they both fit fine and are out of the way... and my mag mount still easily has space for the pew pew... The family is switching to these radios...our club is still using CB's...

    Sunnyside's Gladiator build begins...

Then one of the artistic daughters bought trim pieces to dress up the inside. The gear shift one didn't stick well and is gone already... the others are holding on fine... I had painted the vents on my old JK... so this was just her way of giving the gladiator the same vibe.

Christmas gifts from wife & kids (all adults now). These were not expected... but they are here and so I used them and moved things around to have them work with everything else. The fridge I had to make solid and easily removable. So.. I used a piece of treated teakwood to use 4 braces to the...

    School me on radios please

I'm seeing a crazy difficult maze...lol. I currently only use a CB because the club in the area I belong to only uses CB. The other club uses GMRS. I have been thinking on having both, buy the GMRS license and hopefully be able to communicate with both groups. For our family trips...we are all...

    JT Emissions Recall

They told me about this fix about 6 weeks ago and re-flashed the computer at my dealer, they said it was for the misfire logging issue. My JT was a Sept 19 build... so it was on the list.

I decided to go all black on the side of the topper... and added some stainless screws to give it the rivited look. On the inside got a few more molle pouches... I'm using a magnetic mount for hanging the 10mm cheeseburger , and using another magnetic wrap to mount tools and such on the roll...

    Big Ben's Big Mojave

I also put on a track bar bracket in the rear to raise that bar to level. It helped a lot with the feel on the road in wind and ruts type stuff. It's a small part but it made a significant difference. I may yet get some adjustable control arms... but I would hate to change the way it feels and...

    Big Ben's Big Mojave

I have the same lift, and it will settle some. I wanted to keep mine at the 3.5 inch height and added a 1/2 inch spacer on the front and 3/4 spacer on the rear.... mostly so when the truck was filled up for a trip, the lift would still be effective at keeping the tires out of the body. The EVO...

Here is another part that I have waited to install... drilling 4 holes through the factory track bar mount at odd angles... made me decide to put it off. It takes about 15 min a hole with my tools, but the end result is that the rear track bar is level with the axle and the ground now. This...

    Fishing Jeepers...Post Up Your Pics

I think this is a Yellowstone Cutthroat... as opposed to a Westslope.... the spots being round and below the lateral line. But there are lots of hybrids... most other fish in this area creeks and lakes are brookies...

Just an easy update... I was looking for the transfer case vent... I found it on the front side...about even with the rear driveshaft output. by reaching over from the back you will find about a 3 inch kinked hose and cap. this is the vent... so it is pretty low in the event you are in deeper...

I love the coverage of the LOD bed sliders... but the look of them did not match my current bumper. I also wanted another step...I have one in the rear bumper... and now I have one in slider... I think the lines match my bumper better. I just continued the lines of the wedge thing they created...

Couple of other parts added... I reinforced the pinch seam with a 3/16 length of spring steel that runs down the whole pinch seam. Since my current steps mount to the body mounts underneath and the pinch seam... I went the whole length in one piece steel... this sandwhiches the pinch seam in...
