I pulled it yesterday and it wasn’t bad. Really, it’s only in the frame for the section by the gas tank and maybe a couple of feet on either side. The flexibility of the cable definitely helped.

Ya, little over 13K in about one year of ownership. Unfortunately very few of those miles have been in the dirt.

Finally getting around to working on a power distribution solution for the rear of the truck to handle the ARB twin and a fridge. Here is what 20 feet of 2 gauge welding cable (one red, one black) looks like all wrapped and ready to be fed through the frame. ;)

    Dealing with Covid

My brother and brother-in-law are both physicians actively treating Covid patients. The latter is on our county’s Covid task force and has been since the beginning. This may come as a surprise to people, but doctors are NOT allowed to just prescribe whatever or try whatever to save patients. In...

    Alignment after lift install questions

Not that it necessarily means anything, but this shop has been building 4x4’s since I was in high school. They should know what they are doing with solid axles and I’m disappointed to see that they set the arms at different lengths. The alignment was just something they did as part of...

I covered the metal mount with some rubberized mat from HD that was only $1. Works perfectly and keeps everything rattle/movement free.

VIDEO : Jeep Gladiator Dynomax Quite Crawler Exhaust System Install

The Amazon link says it doesn’t fit a 2021. Any clue if there would be a reason why it would not fit? I love the quiet crawler on my JK’s.

Haven’t noticed it at all. But I’m sure I will now, lol! Edit: I just drove the JT and noticed what you are saying. Ya, that’s annoying. I push it against the door with my leg.

Funny you say that. Yesterday my oldest son was driving my JT and specifically complained that the driver’s seat felt much more boxed-in than his JK. I guess I haven’t ever really noticed it. He swears his JK is much wider inside than my JT.

Been too busy to do much of anything and the supply chain issues haven’t helped. Nothing too exciting but I finally fabbed up my pistol mount. Pretty much anything with a 1.5” belt clip will mount to it.

Tired of the Jeep leaving me stranded, help me value it so I can sell it

I’d ask closer to $40 and let someone talk you down to the $35-$37K range. Used jeeps are a hot item right now.

VIDEO : KC Flex ERA 4 Combo Lights

KC ships it with a harness that has two separate leads (one for each color) and a three way switch. No oversight, unless of course someone ditches the harness and does not wire the light according the manufacturer’s instructions.

I’m not sure the lights are intended to have Amber and white on at the same time. If he hooks up the Amber the way you suggest, they will never be off.

No. You are good wiring the lights directly into the appropriate spots for the Jeep aux switches.

VIDEO : KC Flex ERA 4 Combo Lights

They do. Maybe I’m not understanding your question. If you are using the factory aux switch then you don’t need the relay and all of the harness stuff. I thought you were running your own separate aftermarket switch.

Why cut out the relay if you are using an auxiliary switch??
