Caught the Bug
I've had it for about 8 months and like it so far. Here is a little info on my unconventional install:

It just sits out of the way under the seat. The remote speaker solves the volume problem, although Overlander is right in his post on my thread; scares me sometimes if I don't set the volume right. If you will be in a situation where you use it frequently for several days it might get annoying installed like this. Also one too-deep stream crossing will fry mine...

I use the remote speaker and all my friends down here in South Florida use the separate speaker and have had no problem with it for over five years!

I have this radio and no complaints, depending on if your radio has a auxilary port you can plug your cb into it and push it through the jeep speakers.
