sorry I'm loaded with questions, aside from the rubber stopper like i attempted already, what would be the best way to extend the stock one?

As I said in the previous post, look for a control arm bushing or track bar bushing. Any hard plastic bushing should work. Just make sure it's tight.

thanks guys. ill try and find some bushings or something at the local auto store a bit more solid and make it happen.

Can't believe I got the rig in the garage for Thanksgiving!
Leaving today for CO, good times with grandkids straight ahead.

Fixed a small coolant leak and painted the grill on my Zj more to come soon. Extra uses for zip ties. And the rock out side my house got Jeep tagged. 0IIIIIII0

Rubicon Dana 44 with factory e locker from "weston" with evo c gussets and skids, evo drag link flip (with a crown rhd drag link) poison spyder bombshell diff cover, 4.88 gears.

I'm a very happy camper this Thanksgiving.
