It may get sour, but I think it may bring out some of the "farmhouse funk" found in beers brewed with wild yeast, like saisons.

interesting. we are definitely wanting to get more and may just have to age a couple - just to see. the shop we got it at was called aloha down in carson city and i think you and megan would have appreciated the interior decor.

Well it just wouldn't be right to only have 1 drink at a Pubs grand opening. Oak aged IPA. Cheers.

Really wish I could make it out to CA more often for stuff like that!

As it is, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Georgia provide me with the majority of beer worth bringing home. Sometimes I can find Colorado or Oregon beers in those states as well. The one saving grace is that in the past 5 years the Craft Brew industry in Indiana has exploded. Every few months it seems like another brewery starts producing quality stuff nearby.

I'm drinking a Stone Cali-Belgique IPA.

You guys need to check out untappd.com + their phone apps. Helps you discover new brews as well as force you to try stuff you wouldn't normally(when competing with your friends). Been using it since private beta.

Lots of good beer in Indiana. Plus you have Chumleys in broad ripple, cheap craft beer.

Chumleys does alright, but I've aged beyond my Broadripple days :) Sunking, Flat 12, and others have gone beyond my expectations...and the number of bars and restaurants willing to cary the local brews is even more impressive.

Following in Jeff's footsteps, we just cracked open a Grand Teton Pursuit of Hoppiness Imperial Red Ale :)

Good thread. Nothing to contribute other than a Coors light while manning the BBQ on vacation.

I did kill off this bottle today though.

That's like choosing porn over sex in my book.

I don't get off on downing a case of light beers...I'd rather one good beer a week than a whole lotta swill

I'm an alcoholic and I own a jeep. I gotta go with MTG on this one. While I do love a good beer, My budget says I gotta keep a case of swill on hand :D
