Rebirth of POS

Figured I'd give an update on the statues of POS. I've been busy with school so the progress has slowed down a lot. Currently, the upholstery is being done and the body is waiting to be sent off to the paint shop for bodywork and paint.

Pictures:
We got the engine bolted up to the frame

Then we put the trans on to make sure the transmission tunnel will for the bigger transfercase

We got an idea of how tall POS will be when we were fitting the transmission tunnel. It has 30 inch tires right now because that's what was originally on it.

We have taken the body off and set it to the side of the shop so when the paint shop is ready they can come get it. So in the mean time we are putting the teralow gears in the transfercase and preping all the little things so it can get put back together.

Thanks guys,

UPDATE!

Got the teralow transfercase gears done and roll bar process started. The gears were crazy hard to get together it was the hardest puzzle out there. Here's some pics.

New gear installed:

The bends aren't going to stay like this at the bottom of the dash. It will angle to the floor. We are changing that soon.

Well got some more goodies in the mail today. Now I can talk to other off roaders when pos is back together running trails. I got the Cobra 29LX and Uniden 15 watt speaker.

Figured I would make an update on POS since I have really had much time to get anything done on it. The bodywork, paint, and interior have been finished and all the parts are ready to be reassembled. Shooting to get back to work on it in December.

Thanks,

I never posted a picture of the compressor I ended up getting from ARB. Yeah I decided to go big and get the one you can run air tools on because why now?

Hey guys I'm trying to decide if I should slap a roof rack on top of POS. I finally got it running but now I'm down to the wiring for all the fun stuff. Here's a pic of my idea. Tell me what you guys think.

Thanks,

I just thought of this too. I could do a 50 inch all by itself as well. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

The roof rack looks good but only if you will wind up using it, it will make you a bit top heavy.

I like the look of the light bar.
