Had some fun a week ago with some friends on the other side of Palomar.

Being the only non trailered rig made things a little interesting but definitely a great time. Yes I did donate a rear fender along the way on what they call "glass alley". The XJ behind me blew out his driver side rear window on the same nasty tree. Even made it home early enough to head down to the Coronado cays where the boys caught some evening glass on the kayaks. The scenery is awesome up there. Reminds me of the Sierras. With my prior comittment I had to leave early so I missed the more challenging and fun trails up at higher elevation.

Was this on the Los Coyotes reservation?
I used to wheel on that reservation several years ago. In fact i endoed my YJ there, and had to limp out, and back to Castaic with a VERY wobbly front end, and no lights!!:idontknow:
