I know this is a jeep forum and most of us dream of building our jeeps to our own liking but what about the dream builds that we have of completely different makes. Everyone post your dream non-jeep builds.

Mine would be taking a stock ford e350 eb cargo van diesel, also known as rape vans to some, and converting it to a full out customized bad ass camper van like the ones Sportsmobile 4x4 makes

Just give me a 59 Cadillac El Dorado convertible. Paint it a deep dark red put some white walls on it and slam it down.

Where do I start?
It is constantly changing. However these are some of the top picks that always come to mind.

'28 Ford roadster. This will more than likely be my next build. Going to be a period correct car following the Verne Tardel and Mike Bishop "bible".


A Triumph Bonneville.


'34 Ford 3 window. Something like Vern Hammond's. (This is purely a dream being the price of these things are way the hell outta control)


'32 Ford 3 window. Rolling Bones style. Again, way outta my league on price.


'54 Chevrolet. Cole Foster's 54 is what I would like.



'27 Ford roadster. Banger powered and run on the beach at the Race Of Gentlemen. (Google race of gentlemen)

The ROG is a bucket list thing for me as well as going to Speed Week in Bonneville. Hot rods and old junk are a huge part of my life.....

I won't die happy until I build a diesel prerunner like this. Maybe not as insane as this with beams and whatnot but a nice 2500HD with long travel, coil overs and bypasses would make me a very happy man

Those are the biggest coilovers I have ever seen. That thing is a beast in person.
