I came across these Nitto Instagram posts this morning. With hashtags #G2 #terragrappler #makethebestbetter,
it would appear Nitto is gearing up for yet another tire launch.

Who's ready for the Nitto Terra Grappler G2?

I ran the original Terra Grapplers on my Ford F350 Super Duty, my old Land Rover Discovery II and LR3. Probably the best all around, work horse tire I have ever purchased. I wished they would make this new G2 in 40"s, because I would run them on EVOJEEP ;)

That's a pretty serious sidewall lug improvement compared to my old Gen 1 terra grapplers

I ran them on my F150 I had before the jeep and they were great. If I get another truck I would probably run them again.

Looks a lot more aggressive than the original all terrains. Could be a true AT/MT hybrid they're going for.

Had terra grapplets on my ram. The only thing I didn't like was how bad it tossed gravel. The new lugs look like they have more spacing. Definitely would consider these for my next tire.
