Should be ok. My buddy has a 4" lift on his TJ so 3.75 should be ok. He doesn't rub so just watch that.

2.5" or more to keep from rubbing I'm guessing? Or would spacers be needed?

A set of spydertrax 1.5" spacers will keep you from rubbing
