Installed my brake shields on backwards and in the wrong position.

Not trying to hijack the thread but Im wondering why you have a bungie going around the handle of the tire carrier? Did that help prevent any rattling? Or am I missing somethin ha.

We had a lot of rain last year the handle & hinge got stiff. I took them all apart, clean & greased the parts. The first time I took it out the handle worked itself loose & the tire swang out as I was driving down the road. I don't know how far I went before I noticed it. So to answer your question is; the bungie holds the handle from working loose. Thanks for being so observant & pointing out another one of the stupid little things I have done. :dont_tell:

Forgot to put the safety glasses back on one time... had to get metal and rust ring drilled out of my eyeball.

no permanent damage, the drilling wasn't as bad as back in 07 I ran into a broken off tree branch with my eye, and had to get infection scraped out 3 times...
that was not fun... same doctor did the scraping and drilling

Now that there is funny, but don't feel bad I'm on #3. I will say that #3 has lasted longer than the other 2 combined so I guess she is a keeper.

Backwards .. The shield rides right up against the rotor.
