Tj rad removed and back together

So I disconnected my grill and rad but removing the fender screws rad bolts and the rod bolts plus a few extra bolts in the rad so I could remove it, so after all this my condenser was still connected by the wiring so instead of removing them I just slide it far enough back so I could insert my own custom grill inserts now when I but it back together I can't line up the top rad bolts it's as tho it dropped a bit and shifted and that one side of the rad I can pull closer to line up the holes is there something that could be stopping it or an easier way to do this
