Guys this was a fantastic idea. My hat's off to the organizers, as well as all of the participants.

My dad was a Vietnam vet, he loved his Jeep and he would have loved this event. He had a JK when he passed and he had a CJ-7 in the early/mid 80's....... boy I wish I had that now.

If you guys plan a follow up event I wish you a ton of luck. Its a great event, everybody wins! :thumb:

Good stuff! A nice way to give back a little to those who gave a lot... Looks like it was a nice event. Any more pics?

Sure thing. Here's a few more. It was a great time, and great to give something back to those who deserve it most.

Special thanks to the Purdue ROTC. They sent out a good number of guys who helped us load, unload, stage, and keep the vets engaged in conversation in between rides. The plan is to do this again next year, and promote it better across all of the local clubs.

what an awesome event to put on! hats off to you guys for putting forth the time and effort to put some smiles on those vets faces! having a grandfather that served in vietnam and having served in OEF/OIF myself, it means a lot to see people doing stuff like this!
