Rubicon Trail in December?

Hey guys maybe someone can help me. I am coming to America end November and would like to find out if it will be possible to do the rubicon trail that time of the year? Must be getting fairly cold by then?

It really depends. If the weather was like last year yes you can do MOST of it. That area gets snow and ice and is not safe at times. Occasionally they close the loon lake slabs because of ice. That would mean you have to enter from went worth springs. I personally would not exit through Cadillac hill if it has any chance of ice or snow. Hope that helps a little.

Agh crap, not really want my experience on the Rubicon to be one freezing my ass off, will have to find another thing to do when I am done in Vegas then. Damn bit bummed about that.
