A Different Kind of Suspension Question

JKU EXTREME

Would anyone know what kind of math, or where I could find a source that would give me details as to which math goes into designing a suspension system? I'm probably going to make engineering my minor and I just want to try and grasp the concept of the mathematics that goes into vehicles.

Thanks and any feedback is appreciated!

Not That Kind of Engineer
There are some link calculators somewhere.. never used them, but they tell you all kinds of stuff.

It's really not rocket science or at least, not when it comes to lifting a jeep. A lot of what you want is just to restore geometry back to stock while providing optimal articulation and a minimum of bind.

For a Engineering minor, your probably looking at at least two semesters of calculus and one or two of differential equations. However any guidance counselor should be able to help you. they'd be your best resource.
