Yeah I think max is 36" overall to shut the gate ... didn't read up enough to see you tire size I know I only had about a inch left over space

So this is the set up... still need to move the bar down about a half an inch since I kinda had the push the double seat back and won't release now. Just ran out of daylight to finish it. And it obviously needs painted.

The only thing I notice (since it's flat black) the oils from my hands make the grab bars shiny. I just wrapped them with paracord and problem solved

I think yours is sitting too high, or you need to flip it. Cause it looks too far up, why your too close
