I was thinking about a v8 swap but with the 4.0 lifespan I'm starting to reconsider putting another 4.0 in it. I think just replacing the 4.0 would be much easier.

I just hit 93,000 miles on my '05. I'm hoping that mine will last to 200,000 miles.

My 06 LJ has 40k miles. Seems I have a looong time left with my 4.0

There was a guy who did it on here before it was a mess no tack or speedometer. The 4.0 was abandoned for a reason it can't keep up on the highway, gas is terrible. No need to put all that work to have a worse engine.

This is for a TJ, so I don't think it would get worse.
