I have heard time and time again that they had pushed tons of jeeps off the back of ships on way home after WWII, wish that didnt happen. guess they didnt want a surplus of jeeps. (If this is true)

Yes, they did. Mustangs, Corsairs, too.

This is my father in laws, 1944 Ford Willys he also has a 1952 Willys.

The family line up. 41 willys/ford, 52 willys m38a1 and a 42 GMC cckw

I learned to drive on the 52 m38a1

All restored to 100% original.

They drive like the day they came off the assembly line. I'm lucky my father was so dedicated to the authenticity of the builds.

My dad had a white 1955 CJ3 that was my play toy when I was a boy. I'd love to get hold of one.

Yea "Willy" is a beast. I love that jeep. My dad actually just joined this site. Let me see if I can get him in this thread.
