Hey everyone thanks for the response. My son Jake turned me on to this site to share my jeep. My 1947 Willys CJ2A has been a work of both love and hate lol. I have been working on it for the last three years almost every weekend with my Pop's. He is retired Army as well as I am. And he worked on the MB's through the M151A1's. I couldn't have done this without him, thanks Pop. I should have been finished a year ago but been having overheating problems which has caused me to go through 4 engines and 3 rebuilds. Hence his new name " Little Bastard " lol. But perhaps in the next few weeks that issue will be resolved. All of the work has been done in my garage to include painting him. I will post more progress pics in upcoming weeks.

Wow! That's an awesome project! What are your plans? Is it going to be a rebuild of the stock Jeep or something crazy? Can't wait to follow this!

The only things that are not original are as follows...12 volt system, wanted to be able to see at night, electric wipers, so I can see when it rains, high torque starter I want it to start, electronic distributor smoother starting, and last but not least disk brakes on all four corners have to stop 😜. But the rest is original.

It's a beautiful jeep! Start posting some of your pictures that you took along the way.
