I know, right??? These are in better shape than my oe shafts. Couldn't pass them up.

That's a fine score there! Nice!!

It pays to scroll through the endless posts on FB parts pages apparently. He originally posted these a few weeks ago.

I'll be looking for factory D30/44 axle shafts as my next spares. [emoji106]

Finally, I burned on the rear lca skids today. I had forgotten about them and just recently relocated the box they were in. Anyway, I think all my most vulnerable parts are now covered in EVO skids.

I'm very happy with them so far. I'm right around 6000 miles with them and have rotated twice, rebalanced once. Due to my crazy work/family schedule, I haven't had them on any major trails yet. I'm trying to work out a trip in a few weeks to a hefty trail a couple hours away.

Nice!! I haven't been able to test out my new BFGs either. I'm itching to get them on the trail.

I hear ya. I've been playing the psi game like you. The temps are in the 40's and 50's when I come home from work at night and the 70's/80's during the day. I've settled on 34 psi for daytime and they are at about 28 psi at night. All cold of course.

Other than pre-trip maintenance, I hope to get my rock lights installed prior to the upcoming, proposed trip to Mansfield Canyon. Can't wait to really put them to the test.

I started on my DIY rock light project the other day. The push button style switch I have includes a pigtail with 5 wires. I'm no electrical expert, and have some more research/work to do. I want the switch led to only light up when in the "on" position. Right now it's on all the time. Probably not a big deal and hoping to have this wrapped up in a few days.

I like if the switches light up all the time. That way at night you can see them. I suppose the best way would be to have it connected to the parking lights/headlight circuit

Yeah, that would be great to have it on the dimmer. My biggest question is determining which wire in the aftermarket pigtail would allow that and the correct wire in the Jeep harness.

I planned on digging into that today, but my cavemen-like (partially a joke and partially proud) sons destroyed my sofa yesterday wrestling). My day was spent discarding one broken sofa and picking up a new one. [emoji35]

Hopefully I can do some testing on the new switch in the morning. Just need to figure out the dimming wire on the factory harness. Any help on that, anyone???

I didn't spend any time really looking for the factory wire to have the switch light turn on with my headlights, but I did finish installing 10 lights today. Below are the main parts I ordered besides a small fuse block, wire, solderless connectors and some scrap sheet metal.

Lights

Switch

The switch now only lights up when on, which is fine by me.

I made all the brackets myself...

...and used the EVO mini-liners for one light on each side

I'm very happy with the results.
