Yes it is...but when you play with 40's and don't have proper gear it's just a matter of time :thumb:
My prediction is if he continues to run that steering set up this won't be the last time that happens.

Haha, damn, you weren't suppose to pick up on that fact. It was sad yet funny how it happened. He wasn't even turning. Just slowly came off a log and POP, that was it.
Based on the photo my guess is it happened earlier then it finally gave up. Ya it rarely takes much.

Really? It was a '14 that had just been built. I was surprised at how easily it Popped. Makes me want to move my steering upgrades a little further up my list of todos

As I was scrolling thru the thread, I laughed every single time I came across this picture. Thanks Jason!
It's mechanical it can go anytime. I've seen them snap on smaller tires and doing the same thing. Pushing / Pulling the weight of 40's puts a lot of stress on the steering specifically the pitman, sector shaft, etc.
