Strapping Kayaks To The Top Of My JKU...

Planning on buying kayaks, tonight actually, and of course my first though is just dropping the top and tossing them up across the bars and strapping them down. anyone see a problem with this? My wife doesn't like my "indestructible outlook" i have on our Willy, but i thought it was a great idea!

You can get foam blocks that conform to the v-hull so you don't deform the shape. That's what I do. They run $20-30. Make sure you attach the bow and stern to your bumpers too.
