and it remained like that until today when i purchased a set of 285/70/17 duratracs. i installed them with no lift currently or spacers. my RE 2.5 is sitting in my basement along with my quick disco's to be installed next weekend. i must admit im pretty pumped for it! for reference my duratracs measured 32" tall at 30PSI for those who are wondering.

Pretty happy with how it turned out over all the rides definitely better than stock. gotta check all clearances still but road manners are good and check enough for daily driving

So I got bored today and decided to plasti dip the inserts red so that way if I don't like it I can just peel it off I got a Canadian version called "protect dip" and the red is actually a slightly deeper red almost towards maroon but it's kind of neat I thought not the same as every other anvil and red jeep so gonna see how it plays out and if I like it in the jeep I'll do the rest of the trim!

So this weekend I managed to do a bit on the jeep nothing to crazy as I wait for my bumper to arrive.
I changed out my air filter for a new one and
I installed the rugged ridge switch panel and moved relocated my switch for my duallys to it, as well as I wired up a 7" flood to use as an auxilary backup light wasn't too much work but it does work well for my needs!

Out with the old in, with the new!

The RR switch panel and OTRATTW Switches installed and lights wired up:

Wired with the lower light independent so it comes on with the headlights:

ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1457847484.823851.jpg

And finally the location of the backup light, maybe not the best spot but I don't really notice it looking back in the rear view mirror:

And heres a picture of the light output: pretty decent for 20 bucks

Looking good can't wait to see some bumpers on there. The wheel spacers made a huge difference in the stance

Here it is! The rampage stubby recovery bumper!

Here it is in the packaging. Seemed decently wrapped and the styrofoam around it was about 1/4" thick and wrapped in multiple layers.
ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1459612514.212927.jpg

Wrapped and checking the bumper out
ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1459612757.560538.jpg

During install with the help of my girlfriend. I'm not gonna say no to her helping wrench on the jeep.
ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1459612884.181918.jpg

And all installed.

Well as some of you may know I tore the CV boot on my front driveshaft so I replaced it with an Adams front double cardan shaft

ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465586737.942640.jpg ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465586771.705925.jpg

I also installed a winch I won in a raffle. It was 10bucks for 3 tickets so I figured what the hell its a lot less than to buy one! I was shocked that I won buy what the hell!
It's a 10K winch made by "trailFX" and I guess we'll see how it does. Specs are basically the same as the warn M8000. If I recall so it's pretty slow for a 10k but I'll run it till it quits then buy a warn like I had intended!
ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465587145.672790.jpg

But that's about it for now! More to come when I need new tires but at this point it's pretty much on halt trying to save for a house of my own is gonna consume most of my money ha ha
