Transition to coilovers?

I have been looking at the possibility of transitioning to EVO bolt on and was curious if it is possible to do that in stages?
I have an AEV lift with all its glorious braketry and was trying to figure out how to go about installing the coils if I purchased them
Is this a project that isn't as simple as it seems?
1. Remove front coils and shocks.
2. Bolt on new coilovers.
Would it be a project that I would have to take back to stock, loose the AEV completely, and the install?
I was also wondering if this could be done in stages?
Such as fronts first and do rear when funds allow?

Yeah...I think I missed your post some how and apologize. Maybe I should rephrase my question.
Do I need to take all my AEV kit off to add coilovers or do the brakets make for the correct hight if I install these?

I guess from what I read in the other post, just buy half now and half latter and install when complete is the best course of action.
Sorry guys for the duplicate questions.

No worries.. wasn't meant for that to come across as rude. I wanted to make sure you saw that some of your question might be answered in that thread.

I had posted that thread via my mobile and the search on it didn't return anything useful. Now that I'm on my laptop, I found this as well:

Not completely the same, but similar.
