Jeep tj rubicon transmission oil (Manuel trans)

Hi I have a 2004 jeep tj rubicon manuel/stick . I understand they have a different transmission than the regular jeep tj. Today or sometime in the next 5 days i wish to change my manuel tranny oil. So what type of oil should go into my manuel transmission?

hi there! i recently changed my trans oil in my 2001 TJ, i did a 75-90w and as well did my transfer case with ATF4. I've heard of multiple types to use but decided to give the 75-90w a try! Hope this helps!

A lot of people use syncromesh or 10w30. Gear oil isnt reccomended.

Thanks hopefully this helps my grinding issues and clunky shifting and the jeep not wanting to downshift
