A couple interesting local reds...Numbskull, a Bordeaux style blend...and Brickhouse, a gamay noir, which you normally don't see outside of Beaujolais

A 2012 Chorum from Villa San Juliet. One of the owners is Nigel Lythgoe, exec producer from so you think you can dance and American idol.

Anyways, the wine itself is nice and balanced and easy drinking. What more could you ask for. Cool blend. [emoji485][emoji485]

Oregon was awarded 2016 wine region of the year. This 2014 Pinot Noir came as a great holiday gift set and was perfect with our chicken pasta diner tonight. [emoji485][emoji485]

Tasty wine!!

Here's a bottle from last night. A great new blend. This 2014 Prose combines Malbec, Cab and Petite Verdot. It was great and hope they continue to make this blend.

I don't think you could get another grape varietal in there...it like a blend of Bordeaux & Rhone wines...

Lol. Yeah, I don't yet get the whole blend game, but every now and then you get a great one. This wasn't great, but it was good and if I recall the price was only about $20-$25 or so for non-members.

Almost done with Tablas Creek. Not a fan of the new direction their winemaker is taking them. But a couple solid years of French varietals and organic farming. A good run. One of the last few bottles, this is a 2013 GSM.
