Ok so last night I had some wires get yanked out by the driveshaft. Yeah idk how.. The after math is a broken, seems to be, air line running from my fuel pump to the engine bay. I haven't had time to specify it's exact location in the bay, I will get to that asap. Can someone tell me exactly what this is for. Jeep runs fine. drove it 4 hrs north last night.. it's a 98 xj. Thanks!

Hey Chillipepper,

Based on your thought of "air line"
and that you are not dumping a trail of raw fuel behind you, (I assume,) my first guess would be the vapor line to the carbon canister. Simple fix and not an emergency, but I would take care of it sooner than later.
I am curious however, how did that get caught in the driveshaft?
Anyway, hope this helps.
Let me (us) know if I am off base.
Good Day and God Bless.

Jason.

That makes sense Jason. Ts obviously an air line since it's dry. I used some duct tape to "bond" it together as a trail fix.. or on the side of the highway fix lol. The line didn't get caught in the driveshaft but a couple wires did and when the driveshaft pulled the wires, it yanked that air line apart.
Thanks alot for your help! I think your right on track!
