Emmissions Test Failure - had to replace CO2 sensors only at 59,000 kms

Has anyone had this same issue? Just looking for thoughts as to why they would have burned out so quickly.

Very unusual indeed. Is your engine burning oil? Do you use fuel additives? These could cause the O2 sensor to fail. Although rare, bad gas can contribute to O2 sensor failure as well...

I would lean toward the fuel additive.........especially if dealer did any kind of fuel service maintenance or recent repairs.

Thanks for the reply. I have been using regular 87 octane and just recently upgraded to 89 and used fuel injector cleaner as it was stalling hoping to clean out the injectors.
