295 vs 315/70R17 Tires on 2 Doors - No Lift

Does anyone have pics of their 2 dr JK's with either 295/70R17 or 315/70R 17 tires with no lift or the Evo Leveling kit that wouldn't mind posting up? Trying to narrow down my decision. Thanks!

Yea Josh, those look good. Does the sidewall actually say 35 or are they 315's? How much did it affect your mpg's?

Thanks for posting up:thumb:

For anyone debating going to 315s or 35s but may not be sure and is considering 295s, here's a couple pics of 295/70R17 (left) compared to 285/70R17 (right).

12.50 or 75's

I think the thing that matters most is width, 295 well be 70 or 75, and 35 could be 12.50 which are a lot wider

less every thing

295 might not be the big dog on the street but your gonna have less steering parts wear, better get up and go and mileage, not to mention a lot cheeper to buy

my 285/75-17s rubbed up front with a small lift, had to trim the air dam and adjust the steering stops, they are KO2s

295s cooper's no lift, slight rubbing on the front stock air dam, never got a chance to flex it.

Same tires on 4 dr suspension according to the stock measurement pics floating around I netted 2 1/8" in the front before putting in bumper and winch. No rubbing but also didn't get a chance to flex it

Once again same tires now with stock cut fenders evo 1/4lb and warn powerplant with stock 4dr rubi shocks still no rubbing even flexed out

In my opinion with the 295s I wouldn't want to go any higher than what I got out of the 4dr springs it looks great to me. I do want to get longer shocks to help flex better than the rubi shocks so that might introduce some rubbing issues. I toyed with the option of getting the evo level kit but I heard horror stories of people on 2 Dr's getting well over 3" of lift and I didn't want that.
