I've seen ball joints fail 2 separate times on the trail.
One set the u joints took them out due to breakage. The other set was just plain wore out and they failed.
If they still have low miles I would run them for awhile.
Stock tie rod is ok. I bent mine a few times before upgrading. But it was easy to adjust and later take the bend out with some persuasion.

No sir we just had a son and things have been crazy haven't been able to check things out as much lately
